Backuptrans iPhone SMS Backup & Restore is an application that stores and restores your iPhone messages onto a computer.
I would like to begin by mentioning that this tool is very similar to another program, 'Backuptrans iPhone SMS Transfer'.

To be more accurate, the only difference is that Backuptrans iPhone SMS Backup & Restore can't transfer SMS from one iPhone to another. This tool has a pleasant and well-structured interface. You need to connect your device to the computer for using this app. The program notifies you about 3 conditions that you should accomplish for a successful use. Then the application scans your iPhone and displays all the SMS stored on it. You can find out information about the date, the contact, the number, and the content of a message; you can also see a full conversation.

You are allowed to back up a maximum of 20 SMS with the unregistered version. The program gives you the possibility to save an SMS as Word, HTML, CSV, or text format files. The search function can be very useful if you have lots of messages and you are looking for a particular contact or a certain word. Unfortunately, this application has the same problem as the similar one, i.e. it doesn’t back up the messages that you have checked. It stores the same SMS every time you try to use this function. Another shortcoming is that it doesn't offer the possibility to change the tool’s theme.

In my opinion, this program has a well-structured interface that allows the user to use it efficiently. However, the error I encountered can cause some unpleasant situations. As far as I am concerned, I don’t recommend this tool because it doesn’t give you the ability to choose the SMS that you would like to back up.
